How to use Font Peek

  • Open a webpage in Chrome.
  • Click the Font Peek icon in the toolbar.
  • Inspect the current tab. Font Peek reads computed styles only while it is open.
  • Close Font Peek to stop inspecting that page.

Permissions

Chrome asks for access to http and https pages so Font Peek can read font CSS on sites you visit. This is only used while Font Peek is open. Details: Font Peek Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

  • If fonts do not appear, refresh the tab and open Font Peek again.
  • Some pages (Chrome Web Store, chrome:// pages) cannot be inspected by extensions.
  • Try disabling other extensions that also inject into the page.
  • Remove and reinstall Font Peek from chrome://extensions if the panel will not open.

Uninstall

Go to chrome://extensions, find Font Peek, and click Remove. No account or remote data needs to be deleted.
